Useful rural information is often not online. Chilo City will capture it from the ground and make it searchable.

Important centres can be recorded as latitude/longitude plus a local landmark description so people can actually find them.

Every useful place gets a real record.
Where possible, each listing should carry enough information for a stranger, a diaspora family member or a driver to act on it.

What the place/person is and what problem it solves.
Coordinates + landmark
GPS point plus a human-readable rural description.
Phone / WhatsApp
Only publish contact details supplied or verified for the listing.
Real photos
Frontage, sign, facility, vehicle or service β no generic stock photos for field records.
Open / closed / seasonal / unknown
Infrastructure and services change, so status matters.
Last verified date
Old rural information can be worse than no information. Every record needs a freshness signal.
