What is missing?
What is available?
Chilo Needs turns ordinary questions into useful market signals. Tell us what you need, what you have, what you expect to harvest, what your business or institution buys repeatedly, or a real price you observed. Repeated verified signals can help farmers, shops and transporters make better decisions.
What the ground is telling us.
We will not invent statistics. Public signals appear only after enough evidence exists to make them useful without exposing private household details.
Collecting the first verified signals.
Submit real needs and supply below. One request is recorded as one observation; repeated verified observations can become a public demand or supply signal.
Five simple observations.
The forms deliberately ask for quantity, timing and place. “People need vegetables” is weak data. “A kitchen in Chilonga needs 20 kg green pepper every Friday” is actionable.
What Chilo should eventually answer.
Not “what crop is profitable?” in general. The useful answer is local, timed and measurable.
